This is Mother's Day 2020. Each year this day is so very special for mothers and mother figures (and the little ones who love them). The need to share the special moments that we will remember for years to come is more important than ever as we continue to navigate our days. While most of us may be physically separated from our extended family members, here are a few of the memories we can still make on this day celebrating the love, kindness and strength of mothers.

The amount of well-intentioned health advice out there can be overwhelming for anyone. My health outcome would have been very different without the direction and support of my Mom Strong community through the Mother Love Challenge. An international pandemic. Leap year. Daylight Savings Time. A full moon. Friday the 13th AND a new trending phrase ‘social distancing’ happening all in the same week. Whoa mama! By nature we are all social beings who need community and interaction with others. Social gatherings boost our serotonin levels, and help us learn how to connect on a deeper level. So with schools closing, events canceled, and social distancing, how do we maintain our community when in isolation?
