Wondering just how incredible the Momleta Eugene
community is? Introducing Momleta Eugene Brand Ambassador, Helena Hafdahl.
Q: Where do you live and where are you a Momleta Member?
A: I was born, raised, and still live in Eugene, Oregon. I have been attending Momleta classes at the Eugene/Springfield franchise for four years. This is my second year as a brand ambassador and first year as a brand ambassador captain.
Q: How many children do you have and what are their names/ages?
A: I have two beautiful daughters: Cecilia, age 4 and Felicity, age 2.
Q: Do you work outside the home, from home, SAHM?
A: This is the end of my 13th year working as an elementary special education teacher, working primarily with students with learning disabilities and attention difficulties. Teaching is my passion and I can’t imagine doing any other job.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Momleta?
A: My favorite thing about Momleta is that it is so much more than just a workout group. It’s a community of moms who support and lift up each other.
Q: What is your FAVORITE and LEAST FAVORITE exercise?
A: My favorite exercise format is tabatas. I feel like I can do any exercise, even burpees, for 20 seconds at a time. And I always feel so accomplished after completing a round of tabata exercises. My least favorite exercise is get down/get ups. I know they are one of the most functional/important moves, but they are just not any fun. The worst, though, was doing get down/get ups at 39 weeks pregnant. I REALLY hated them then!!
Q: Why are you a Momleta Brand Ambassador? What inspires you most about Momleta?
A: I became a Momleta Brand Ambassador because I wanted to share Momleta with as many moms as possible. Momleta has helped me show my girls what a healthy mom looks like. Our fearless leader, Anne Mills, and the other Momleta moms inspire me on a daily basis to not give up and push myself a little harder.
Q: What is your favorite travel destination?
A: My favorite travel destination is anywhere near the ocean, especially the Oregon coast. It’s so beautiful and calming, especially at sunset. My family recently got a travel trailer, so we’re enjoying traveling anywhere we can go camping and spending time outside.
Q: What is the oddest item in your purse/diaper bag right now?
A: The oddest item in my purse/diaper bag at the moment is a Sharpie. I can’t remember exactly why I had to use it, but now it’s in the bottom of my purse.
Thank you, Helena, for being part of this amazing community!
