Q: What city/state do you live in and how long have you lived there?
A: Morristown, NJ for 11 years.
Q: How many children do you have and what are their ages?
A: 3 children, boy, girl, boy almost 8, 6, and 3 years old
Q: How long have you been a MOMLETA franchise owner?
A: Since July 1, 2015
Q: How did you find out about MOMLETA?
A: I joined as a member when I stayed home after having my daughter and the rest is history!
Q: Why did you become an owner?
A: I didn’t want to see the community go. It helped me through such a difficult transition to staying home with two kids, and I figured if I needed it, other moms did too!
Q: What are the top three things you love about being a MOMLETA franchise owner?
A: Top reason is the community. I can’t imagine going through this journey without other moms for support. MOMLETA keeps me and my family healthy by setting priceless examples of how fun it is to be active with friends and family. Finally, I like having an additional purpose, something for me, a reason to keep learning and studying and keeping my mind active.
Q: What would you be doing if you were not a MOMLETA franchise owner?
A: Ahhh I don’t know!! That question makes me feel lost!
Q: Prior to becoming a fitness professional, what did you do?
A: I was a middle school history and language arts teacher.
Q: What did your family & work life look like before March 2020?
A: Very active, structured and routine-oriented. We were out of the house A LOT. My older son plays hockey so we were at the rink a few times a week and my daughter had dance and gymnastics, plus they both played other seasonal sports so we were on the go most days.
Q: What does your family & work life look like now?
A: Calmer in terms of our schedules. We are home a lot and honestly, overall it has been nice to not be so on the go, but I do miss the routine. I feel like everything changes week by week so sometimes it feels overwhelming to not be able to plan long-term. But I love getting to shower when I want!
Q: What three things do you miss most?
A: Hugs, smiles, and in-person socializing. I’m a people person and feed off of giving and receiving positive energy.
Q: What three things do you not miss?
A: Packing three kids in and out of the car several times a day, leaving the house in the morning for class and sometimes not getting home until after dinner time, and my husbands long hours. It’s nice having him home, he jumps in and helps out a lot.
Q: If you had $10K and two weeks to travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you go with?
A: Spain has anyways been on my bucket list so possibly a tour from northern to southern Spain and definitely with my husband.
