Momleta™ Locations Slowly Return to In-Person Fitness Classes with Plans to Continue Online Programming for Moms
After nearly three months of running exclusively virtual programming, select Momleta locations are beginning to add in-person programming to their class schedules.
Momleta HQ announced on March 16 that in-person classes would temporarily be on hold nationwide. The team quickly launched Momleta Online, offering virtual fitness classes to support members from all the franchised locations.
“We are pleased to see the positive response to our virtual programming and excited that many of our franchises across the country are able to begin to meet outdoors for in-person classes,” said Kristen Horler, Founder of Momleta. “We believe that our pre-coronavirus safety policies in addition to specific guidelines set by local and national governments will allow for a seamless transition from our virtual programming,” adds Horler.
“I was initially very apprehensive about returning to in-person classes but was pleasantly surprised at how easy the transition has been. Our moms have responded well to the changes including smaller classes, and sanitizing before and after classes. Most precautions we are already accustomed to such as keeping our children in their stroller and using our own equipment,” said Kasey Johnson, Owner of Momleta Frisco & Plano, TX.
“The thing I love about our business is how seamlessly we could go virtual and then start to add in-person classes back. Our moms have absolutely loved seeing each other in person again and I think it’s been good for everyone’s mental state,” adds Johnson.
Online fitness programming has expanded to now be available to moms nationwide, regardless of if a local Momleta location is available in their city.
